Diamond Dharma in Tucson
Ben here, standing in for Evan.
How awesome is Evan?
This blog was a really special thing for me when I was far off elsewhere in the world imagining what it would be like to show up out here where all the cool kids are.
I imagine that there are some of you out there like that right now.
Back then I didn't think I could ever make it to DMU in person, and yet, here I am living in Tucson, surrounded by some of the most amazing people ever.
So be heartened. Your time is coming.
Enjoy the blog and the pictures for now.
You'll be here before you know it.
There are a good number of study opportunities here in Tucson thanks to Jim and Allison Dey and their great work organizing the Diamond Dharma ACI study group in Tucson (that's right they just became an official non-profit organization!).
He is a picture of Susan Stumpf's Course 13: The Art of Reasoning at Ted and Andrea Lemon's house:
Next will be Course 7 on the Bodhisattva vows taught by Allison Dey (a great teacher, I happen to know from experience)
