Spiritual Partners 6: Registration Open

Spiritual Partners 6: Living with God. Powerful title, huh? Registration and info for the next talk in the spiritual partners series is now available. Once again the root text being used is that of Arya Nagarjuna, trailblazer of the Middle Way philosophy.

Part of the event description reads:
What if one day you woke up and realized that your partner actually was sent from God? Or maybe just God himself or herself? Now that's pressure! How could we ever manage to behave ourselves around this being, 24 hours a day, seven days a week?
Yeah, I know. These talks keep getting better and better. For audio from the previous spiritual partners teaching go to to DMES.org.

Upcoming This Break

The term may end, the weather may get cooler, and I may even head off to India, but the DM party doesn't stop. Some really exciting things are happening between now and Winter term 07. The first event will take place on December 15th. As a celebration of Je Tsongkapa Day, 1000 butter lamps will be lit. This will be followed by Vajrayogini tsechu (for those with initiation). To see what Je Tsongkapa day is all about check out the images from last year.

Only a few days later, on the 22nd, Venerable Gyelse will lead an Introduction to Vajrayogini Retreat. I'm not totally sure on the details, but it sounds pretty great. Please email Ven. Gyelse (nyimap at gmail.com) for more info.

There's probably plenty more going on that I don't know about. I'm kind of out of the loop here at Sera Monastery, but I'll do my best to keep y'all posted.
