DMU Vids, Oh Yeah

In an effort to make DMU available to the world many of this terms courses are being not only recorded via audio but video'd as well. We've decided to host the vids with our friends Google whose mission statement is to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful. We have a similar goal. There's only a few videos up right now (this is Bok Jinpa 9, class 1) and we hope to get more up as the classes occur. Stay posted.

Spring Term Kicks Off

Spring Term 2007 officially began today. As part of the occasion a community dinner was held followed by a student orientation. The meeting covered all the you-should-knows about Diamond Mountain; when's meditation, who's food you can eat, where do the rattlesnakes live, who is friends with Bert. You know, important stuff.

We're already working hard to get course material and recordings up online as soon as possible. As the term progresses check DMES for new goodies for your spiritual education.

With Love From Brazil

During this term break a core group of Diamond Mountaineers headed south, way south, to Brazil. Geshe Michael and Lama Christie headed up the tour teaching at more than eight different locations with other DMers teaching as well. Venerable Jigme took part in the road show and kept a journal of the experience. She's been kind enough to offer it to all of us along with photos of the tour for our enjoyment and education. Not only that, but she and Venerable Chukyi have taken the care to make sure the audio from the aforementioned teachings are available here.

Have a read, a look, and a listen. Now if we could just find a way to upload the sunny beaches.

Thank you.
