Happs About DM

Summer time at Diamond Mountain does not mean a break for most folks. Everyone seems to be staying pretty busy these days. Aside from temple work 5 days per week, classes are being held. Eric just got finished teaching The Path to Bliss, part 1 and now Rob (pictured) is teaching part 2. The temple walls are about finished too! Next we pour concrete and then begin to work on the roof. Things are really moving. Get out here quick to get a chance to play in the dirt.

Some more new pictures up as well.

Temple Art

I just got this scan of an artist rendering done by our own Douglas Smith. This will be what the DM temple will look like when all is finished. If you are interested in helping we just put up a new page on the DM site with some good info and more pics.

I also attempted an artist rendering. However, it is clear that my drawing skills are not quite as refined as Douglas'.

Work Photos

In response to the demand for temple work photos I took the trusty digi-cam out to work today and captured the below pics. Enjoy!

Summer at DM

This is a big summer at Diamond Mountain. Lots of events and courses are taking places including:

  • All three courses of De Lam, the Path to Bliss
  • Yoga Sutra courses
  • Heart Yoga course
  • y mucho más (and much more), just check the 'tween-term schedule

Diamond Mountain also needs help this summer. The temple must be ready for Fall Term and workers are in short supply. If you can hold a spoon you can be a big help. In a rare request for assistance Geshe Michael said, "I'm gonna pull a Lama thing on you. You gotta finish the temple for September." Get out here, and get merit.

See you here.
