DMU Work Day

This is from the DMU Planning Committee, see you there:
Dear DMU Students:
Saturday, January 29th is scheduled as a DM Community Service day from 1-9pm at Diamond Mountain, so Traditional Chinese Medicine, Kirtan, and Tantric Course classes will be cancelled. This e-mail contains information about the schedule for the day and the things we’d like you to bring along.
There’s a work party sign-up sheet on the door at Jamyang House – if you sign up this week that will help with planning. If not, just show up and we’ll put you to work. Even if you don’t normally have a class on Saturday, we hope you can join us. This is a great opportunity to help out at Diamond Mountain and work with fellow students. Along with various work projects on the land – both indoors and out – we’ll have a potluck dinner and community meeting in the evening.

Winter Term Begins

The 2005 Winter Term of Diamond Mountain University has begun and DM is filled with the life of students again. There are many familiar faces and quite a few new ones. Jamyang House (the main classroom) is completed and is really beautiful. Teachings and their corresponding paperwork will begin to become available on the web shortly.

I've posted two pics here. First, Geshe Michael teaching in the Tantra course today. Second, Bliss posing next to her painting above the doorway in Jamyang House.

It's great to have everyone back.

Milinda, cont.

It's been a little over a week since last post and I figured now would be a good time.

People have descended on Tucson for the Questions of King Milinda teachings today through Thursday. Everyone is very excited about it and the start of Diamond Mountain University's Winter Term. We are sitting in a Tucson cafe right now next to a stack of King Milinda flyers planted here by some DM angel. And now, Darcy and Benjamin have just walked in. What a nice surprise meeting.

That's all for now. Images from the teachings to be posted shortly and followed by the audio of this week's lectures. Maybe I'll see you there.
