Here we go!

Diamond Mountain started emptying out this week while people went to attend the Heart Yoga training, and by this weekend it will be completely empty. Everyone will be in Tucson for the King Milinda teachings. And so ends the summer at DM. It has been a wonderful experience for all involved. We did a lot of work and have much more to do and I look forward to it.

The first semester of Diamond Mountain University officailly begins Monday. This is it. Years of hard work between many people is coming to life. Good luck everyone.

A full day around DM

Today started with the Bowie food bank. A few of us went to volunteer at the local food give-away for towns people below the poverty line. We made some new friends and got a chance to give assistance to our home town. At the same time at Diamond Mountain the bathroom was getting a floor and a roof.

Later in the day Douglas and I finished up the outdoor showers. Then in the evening we all got together at the Lama House for a big dinner to thank our friend Alan for his 5 months as a DM volunteer before he leaves.

Another great day at Diamond Mountain
