dance party

This blog entry has not much to do with the Retreat. I went to a dance party/fund raiser at the Three Jewels in Tucson. It was a Black Friday dance party. The whole thing was a great success. There were familiar faces, old heads, and lots of people not associated with 3J's. Random people from the street or who saw a flyer. At the turntables was DJ Crimson Joules (Tyrone) calling up the ill beats. It was great to see 3J's hosting such a vibrant event. If you plug into the right places, Tucson has a very healthy community.
The folks in Retreat have been very chill this break period. Caretakers seem good. Peace reigns in the campground. I am a bit ill and must lay on the couch in front of the heater with the cat for several hours.
