Advice for a More Meaningful Life

Between Fall and Winter term an anonymous student asked for some advice from Diamond Mountaineers on how to maintain a successful career and live a spiritual life. Many responded, sharing their ideas and experiences. The responses have been compiled and are available for all to read.

This is to be a resource of wisdom.

I have to say that you are wiser than I am
Because the entire idea of making money to receive more things is positive.
I make nothing and living is plausable so you are wrong in this.
In fact - your having to pay money is a result of your wrong-doings and you must pay for that too - and if your pay check does not say 0.00 then you will.
You can't expect to cheat people out of their money either and this is why you are at a loss for words, also. This secret - key is understood for less.

"even though the buddha taught forsaking life he taught that until..."

Buddha gave 84,000 different teachings.
That limitation is not here.
This is why Buddha is known as the gracious teacher.

the ultimate state of the true nature.
In order to practice and meditate and be able
just think, 'Oh, this was said by the Buddha or a great master

When you study, don't just think of your devotion
In the course of practice Now the one who shows the teaching is known as the teacher.
