Work Party + Gnats = Itchy Progress

Today was a successful work day at DM. Even with all the Diamond Mountain volunteers scattered around the globe we had a good turnout. If you include the gnats as volunteers we had hundreds of helpers. The two main projects of the day were digging a ditch for a power cable to the kitchen yurt and creating a road reinforcement. To put it simply, one job was to dig a hole and the other was to fill a hole.

Ah, yes. I remember the first Tiger Rider talks after the Quiet Retreat ended was about this time of year. You could hear the tiny smacking of insectoid lips as the crowd gathered. . .
